Real Madrid keen on signing £27million Arsenal star after scouting him at Villa Park

Arsenal are back competing at the top of the Premier League table and with that comes more attention from some of the biggest clubs around Europe. Real Madrid are one of those clubs who seem to be tracking one Arsenal star in particular.

The Gunners have had a positive start to the 2024/25 season after winning two and drawing one of their opening three games. One player who has performed at the top of his game at the beginning of this season is centre-back William Saliba.

The Frenchman was named in the Euro 2024 team of the season this summer and he seems to have carried that good form into the Premier League. He’s helped Arsenal keep two clean sheets from their opening three games.

Real Madrid have watched William Saliba closely over the past year or so. The Spanish giants even sent scouts to Villa Park to analyse Saliba’s performance in the Gunners 2-0 victory earlier this season.
