Why Arsenal must sell Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah Mikel Arteta Can replace them with any of these 5 strikers
Premier League giants Arsenal football club will most definitely remain keen on further strengthening their goalscoring options under manager Mikel Arteta when the transfer window opens next year.
Do remember that the North London club were quite active during the summer transfer window, but instead of Arsenal to sign a new striker, they offloaded promising forward Folarin Balogun on a permanent deal to AS Monaco.
And with the sale of Folarin Balogun, Arsenal football club are now heavily reliant on the abilities of Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus to score goals and challenge for titles.
However, Gabriel Jesus has been poor in front of goal since he departed Manchester City to sign up for Arsenal football club in a deal worth up to €52million back in 2022.
Gabriel Jesus scored just 11 goals during the 2022/2023 football season, and in this new season, the 26-year-old striker has managed to score only one goal in the Premier League.
Due to this, I reckon Arsenal football club must cash in on Gabriel Jesus when the transfer window opens and I take a look at three other strikers that will be available at their disposal.
1. Victor Osimhen
Arsenal football club should most definitely be aiming to secure a deal for prolific Napoli centre-forward Victor Osimhen when the transfer window opens next year.
The 24-year-old Nigeria International has been very impressive since he joined Napoli back in 2022. Victor Osimhen scored a total of 31 goals during the 2022/2023 football season.
Victor Osimhen has also enjoyed a brilliant start to the new season, scoring six goals and providing one assist so far. His excellent performances should not go unnoticed and Arsenal should lure him to the Emirates Stadium next year.
2. Benjamin Sesko
Arsenal football club should also be on the lookout for highly-rated RB Leipzig centre-forward Benjamin Sesko when the transfer window opens next year.
Although just 20 years of age, Benjamin Sesko has proven to be one of the best young strikers in the world after scoring 18 goals and providing four assists during the 2022/2023 season.
RB Leipzig went ahead to sign him during the summer and Benjamin Sesko has continued to improve with the Bundesliga side, scoring five goals so far this season.
Benjamin Sesko is an out-an-out striker with an eye for goal and these abilities should convince Arsenal football club to make a bid for him when the window opens.
3. Dusan Vlahovic
Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is yet another striker that should be on the transfer list of Arsenal football club as we anticipate the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old Serbia International has hugely influential in front of goal for Juventus during the 2022/2023 season where he scored 14 goals and also created four assists.
Dusan Vlahovic has also started the ongoing season on a good note as well, scoring four goals in his first few matches for Juventus so far.
Its no longer news that Arsenal football club need a prolific striker as the likes of Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus are unable to score up to 15 goals in a season and the Gunners should make a move for any of those strikers.
