The sight of Stefan Bajcetic wearing his Liverpool kit at the AXA Training Centre has sparked speculation about a potential return, but fans should exercise caution.

Tuesday brought a series of positive updates regarding Jurgen Klopp’s squad, with four players making a comeback and two others overcoming minor issues.

Mohamed Salah’s return grabbed the headlines, but Alisson and Joe Gomez also participated after recovering from illness, Conor Bradley returned from compassionate leave, and Diogo Jota and Ryan Gravenberch were confirmed to be fit.

Bajcetic was another player spotted in footage from the AXA Training Centre, arriving alongside his teammates and seen wearing training gear.

Liverpool fan sites speculated about a potential return for Bajcetic as he played darts with fellow youngster Bobby Clark in the canteen while wearing the ‘full training kit’.

However, it comes as no surprise that the 19-year-old did not join the first-team squad for training, nor was he part of the initial gym session.

Instead, Bajcetic continues to follow an individual program as Liverpool carefully manage his body due to growth-related issues.

Initially, Klopp referred to his absence in September as a “little, little, little setback” in his calf, but it has turned out to be a broader concern.
