That’s a proper No 9’s goal!
Arsenal have finally clicked into gear and they scythed through PSV down the right, with Cedric and Nelson linking up.
Nelson then picks out Nketiah in the box, with the striker taking one touch before burying a left-footed shot into the bottom corner via the post.
Clinical from Nketiah.

Sky Sports’ Sam Blitz:
“Minor check for VAR as the ball popped up onto Elneny’s arm, but it would have been harsh, it took a couple of deflections on the way through.”

Kick-off on the way…
Kick-off at the Philips Stadion will take place in just 10 minutes. Here’s a reminder of how PSV and Arsenal will line up…
Pre-match Opta stats: Can Arsenal shake Dutch struggles?
Arsenal are winless in their last three major European visits to the Netherlands (D1 L2) since a 2-1 win at Ajax in September 2005 in the Champions League.
Arsenal have already won their Champions League group, winning four of their five matches so far. Only once have they won five of their group-stage games in a single campaign, doing so in 2005/06, when they reached the final for the first and only time.
PSV have won their last two Champions League matches, as many as they had in their previous 22 (D9 L11). They last won three in a row in the 2006/07 group stages, a campaign in which they would eventually reach the quarter-final after eliminating Arsenal.
Officials Mic’d Up: Why Havertz’s goal was ruled out
PGMOL chief Howard Webb explains the process that disallowed Kai Havertz’s handball goal for Arsenal against Aston Villa and why VAR recommended to stick with the on-field decision.
Arteta: This is not a free hit
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta speaking
“It’s never a free hit. We are in the Champions League and the opponents are so good.
“We need to be really good tonight to win the game.”

Arteta keen to ‘reward’ squad players
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta speaking to TNT Sports
“We’ve got a really heavy schedule and we have to manage the loads of several players. We also have to reward certain players who give me headaches every day because they want to play more minutes.
“It’s a really good opportunity to finish the first stage in style.”
What happened last time Arsenal met PSV?
Arsenal are facing PSV for the second time in Group B – and will be hoping to repeat the result from the first encounter in September.
The Gunners recorded an emphatic 4-0 victory at the Emirates, with Saka, Trossard and Jesus all scoring before half-time.
Odegaard added a fourth in the second half as Arsenal sent PSV back to the Netherlands in no doubt over which side would go on to dominate Group B.
PSV aren’t used to losing…
Sky Sports’ Sam Blitz:
“Yes, both sides have rested key players ahead of this Champions League dead rubber – but Arsenal will do well to remember PSV’s brilliant record this season.
“The Dutch side have won 15 out of 15 games in the Eredivisie this season, making them the only team in Europe’s top 55 leagues (yes, fifty-five) with a 100 per cent domestic record.
“In fact, Arsenal are the only team to beat PSV in the current campaign, via their 4-0 Champions League win on matchday one.”

“Teze, Obispo, Mauro, Pepi and Vertessen all come into the side.
“Dest, Boscagli, Til and De Jong drop to the bench, while Veerman is absent with injury.
