Motherwell Set £4 Million Price Tag for Lennon Miller Amid Celtic and Rangers Interest

Motherwell has slapped a minimum £4 million price tag on highly sought-after midfielder Lennon Miller, according to a report by the Daily Mail. The 18-year-old has been impressing under Stuart Kettlewell, with his performances catching the attention of Celtic and Rangers.

Miller’s rapid rise to prominence was underscored by his captaincy in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden, demonstrating the faith Kettlewell has in the youngster. Former Rangers midfielder Barry Ferguson praised Miller, stating that he would “walk” into the starting team at Ibrox.

Despite interest from Scotland’s top clubs, Miller has consistently emphasized his focus on development and accumulating top-team experience. Motherwell chairman Kyrk Macmillan has expressed the club’s desire to retain Miller’s services for as long as possible.

However, the Steelmen are aware that every player has a price. Motherwell previously sold David Turnbull to Celtic for £3 million in 2020, but the club is determined to secure a significantly higher fee for Miller.

Celtic’s Brendan Rodgers and Rangers’ Philippe Clement will need to table substantial offers to test Motherwell’s resolve. With Miller’s stock continuing to rise, the Lanarkshire outfit is well-placed to negotiate a lucrative deal.
