Liverpool’s back four punished Mo Salah with a nutmeg and Nottingham Forest “forgot” the new rules.

Liverpool dominated Nottingham Forest as expected, with Mohamed Salah having the last laugh after a difficult opening moment.

That’s what we saw.

Liverpool had the last laugh after Mohamed Salah collided with a Nottingham Forest defender.

Anfield, Liverpool Today’s football match was overshadowed by the devastating news that Luis Diaz’s parents have been kidnapped in Colombia.

Of course, he was left out of the opening game against Nottingham Forest.

Jurgen Klopp will be the first to tell his team that reviews don’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

But he can still count on Liverpool’s powerful attack, with Diogo Lotta alongside Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunes.

His opener showed Klopp’s skill. Jota celebrated by lifting Diaz’s shirt and drew praise from all four Anfield teams.

Tottenham lead Arsenal after 10 games of the Premier League season.

Nunez added a second before the break as Liverpool never looked uncomfortable even before Salah capitalized on Matt Turner’s stunning mistake to seal victory.

Here are four things Liverpool.com highlighted during the game:

Liverpool had the last laugh after Salah

It didn’t take long for Salah to show his well-founded disbelief week after week. This time Murillo’s Nottingham Forest defender was awarded a penalty by elbowing the Egyptian.

Still, it has to be said that it was a good result overall, although Murillo made free use of the special regulations that allowed him to abuse Liverpool’s talisman.

Moments later, it was a special moment when he beat Salah and crossed to Anthony Elanga.

In a game where Nottingham Forest had little chance to display anything in possession, he produced a neat display that caught Liverpool’s eye.

The risk was too great to open up Klopp’s side, but Jota did just that.

.

I think he was finally punished for Murillo’s courage and face.

However, as I wrote earlier, his profile is interesting from a transfer perspective.

Enfield thinks with Diaz

Anfield used Jota and his celebration as an example to show that Diaz is thinking of him. His name was mentioned all over the stadium.

It was a good move from the Liverpool fans.

Obviously, it really makes sense to never be alone in times of crisis.

In the 37th minute, the national anthem was played for Paul McHugh after a minute’s applause.

The former Liverpool fan died suddenly just hours after attending last weekend’s derby.

Remember the start of the season when downsizing was all the rage? As is usual with these plans, it took a few weeks to disappear.

It’s no surprise that we can’t find any consistency at all, with some trying to follow the new guidelines and others going back to normal. Chris Cabana seems to fall into the latter camp, ignoring Turner’s repeated time-wasting incidents.

The former Arsenal man could have picked up two yellow cards in the first 20 minutes, which tells you all you need to know about Nottingham Forest’s game plan.

But despite the Kop’s best efforts to get the referee’s attention, the clock is ticking.

Ironically, every time Liverpool took the lead, time seemed to run out.

Klopp’s flexible options

Good luck figuring out how to display the Liverpool team sheet these days.

It wasn’t bad from the beginning of the game, but it was impossible to follow the changes during the game.
