The new manager is in the dugout at Liverpool

Even when Jurgen Klopp was at the club, there was a lot of talk about Mohamed Salah’s future and you feel that will only increase this summer.

Arne Slot has a number of big decisions to make as you feel who leaves is probably going to be more important than who enters.

In the case of Mohamed Salah, the interest from Saudi Arabia has been there since last summer and now he has 12 months remaining on his contract.

Given that he is 31, then Liverpool have a big call to make. Either he signs a new contract or he leaves this summer.

In some cases, if the Saudi Pro League were to put a hefty transfer fee on the table for him, then they might have no choice but to sell.

For Danny Murphy, if it’s in the region of £100 million, then he would be happy to see Salah leave, as he told talkSPORT.

At first, he was asked if he would sell the Egypt star and bring in Jarrod Bowen or Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United, but he flat-out said no.

The former midfielder wants another London-based duo at Anfield and they are thriving at Crystal Palace.

Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise are two of the most exciting players in the Premier League and Murphy would like to see them at Liverpool.

Whilst he thinks the duo are ‘amazing’, he added that he would pay around ‘£120 million’ for their talents.

On if he would sell Salah to bring in Bowen or Kudus: “I wouldn’t sell Salah unless he is saying ‘I want to go’,” said Murphy.

“It depends on the amount. I mean, how old is he? 31 or 32. If £100 million comes, and he wants to go, then he has to go. I wouldn’t go either (for Bowen or Kudus).
