Dani Olmo signs

Plenty of names were mentioned on the Liverpool rumour mill throughout Euro 2024, with Dani Olmo being one of them. The RB Leipzig star helped Spain win the tournament and won a share of the Golden Boot award with his three goals.

Reports have speculated that Olmo has a release clause worth £50 million that is set to expire later this month. In order for Liverpool to avoid paying a higher fee thanks to Olmo’s impressive performances for Spain, meeting the release clause sooner rather than later may be the wise decision.

New centre-back added

There has been a substantial amount of speculation linking Liverpool with a new centre-back. Leny Yoro, Marc Guehi and Goncalo Inacio are just some of the names to be mentioned as potential targets for the Reds this summer.

After the departure of Joel Matip, it would be wise for Liverpool to bring in at least one new central defender this window. Yoro is seemingly set to join either Real Madrid or Manchester United, so it remains to be seen if Guehi or Inacio are genuine targets.

Anthony Gordon decision

It was the end of last month that Anthony Gordon was seemingly close to joining Liverpool. In the end, the forward remained at Newcastle but that has not stopped rumours he could move to Anfield.
