I will never forget’ – Mohamed Salah drops clear hint in rare statement about Liverpool future

Mohamed Salah has posted a cryptic message about his Liverpool future, saying: “No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like.” And in a social media post sent on Sunday, the Reds star has outlined the desire within the Anfield camp to launch a sustained charge for the Premier League title
Salah curled home a stunning second on Saturday afternoon as the Reds came from a goal down to beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 at Anfield to go two points clear of Manchester City, who lost by the same scoreline to Bournemouth on a day that also saw Arsenal beaten 1-0 at Newcastle United.
Top of the table is where this club belongs.” wrote Salah. “Nothing less. All teams win matches but there’s only 1 champion in the end. That’s what we want. Thank you for your support last night. No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like.”
Salah will likely start the game on Tuesday night when the Reds meet Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in the revamped Champions League as they aim to make it four straight wins in the new-look European Cup.
The strike moved Salah above Robbie Fowler and into eighth on the all-time list of scorers in the Premier League with 165 but with just over six months to go on his current Reds contract, it’s unclear how much further up the rankings the Egypt captain will go
The No.11 can speak to clubs outside of England about a pre-contract agreement in under two months’ time and in an Instagram message, Salah talked up what it means to be top of the table, even at this relatively early stage of the campaign.
