HUGE DEAL : LIVERPOOL REPORTEDLY PLANNING DOUBLE SWOOP ON PREMIER LEAGUE RIVALS

Arne Slot recently earned his first Liverpool win against Real Betis during the club’s pre-season tour of the US. Dominik Szoboszlai scored the only goal in the 1-0 victory.

The Reds are yet to make a transfer during this summer transfer window despite being linked to various exciting players including Mathys Angely and Anthony Gordon over the last few days.

Although some Liverpool players are impressing Slot during the pre-season tour, especially youngsters like Trey Nyonyi and Sepp van den Berg, the Reds are still facing some injury concerns.

James McConnell, Andy Robertson, Curtis Jones, Jayden Danns and Bobby Clark are all amongst the list of injured players.

Wether it is to address injury concerns, increase overall squad depth or add a different dynamic, Liverpool are looking to spend big this transfer window

LIVERPOOL ARE PLANNING A DOUBLE SWOOP ON THE LEFT FLANK

Liverpool are reportedly planning to re-organise the left-flank by replacing Colombian star Luis Diaz with Wolves attacker Pedro Neto.

Neto performed exceptionally throughout the 2023/24 season, scoring 2 goals, providing 5 assists and creating 38 chances in 20 games.

In February, Fabrizio Romano reported interest from various clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool who were looking to fight for the player’s signature in the summer. It looks like the Reds may be interested once again.

Liverpool are also planning to replace 30-year old left-back Andy Robertson with Ait Nouri.

Robertson has proven his quality over the years for Liverpool, starring in historic victories under Jurgen Klopp and is beloved by the fans.

However, the Scot has been battling injuries throughout the previous season and Nouri might be a good replacement to have as an understudy.

According to Reports  double swoop deal Liverpool are reportedly planning on Premier League rivals Wolves will cost the club a staggering £98m.

The Wolves pair are definitely exciting to watch, however it remains to be seen if the club is willing to let go of valuable players like Diaz and Robertson.
