Liverpool is set to ask for approximately €85 million in order to let go of Darwin Nunez. who has been linked with Barcelona in La Liga

As reported by Nicolas Saavedra on Mas Que Pelotas, Barcelona is showing interest in the Uruguayan striker and is looking to secure his services in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Darwin Nunez’s journey with Liverpool has been quite the rollercoaster since his transfer from Benfica in July 2022 for approximately €75 million.

Despite facing some initial challenges, the 24-year-old has managed to solidify his position as a key player for the team over the past year, showing significant improvement in the current season.

Despite Nunez’s lack of efficiency in front of the goal, he has managed to contribute to 31 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions.

This includes scoring 18 times and providing 13 assists.

However, the future of the Uruguayan international at Anfield is uncertain as the summer transfer window approaches.

Recent reports suggest that several top clubs, particularly from La Liga, have shown interest in the Liverpool striker.

Barcelona, in particular, is considering him as a potential long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

It seems that a move to Barcelona could be a possibility for the former Benfica talisman. However, Liverpool is expected to demand a fee of around €85 million if they are to part ways with him
