shows signs, Kiwior poor a look at how the Gunners got on individually in their Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven at the Phillips Stadio

Aaron Ramsdale: Looked so much calmer on his first start since that shaky night at Brentford. A couple of nice saves, including one low down from Saibari onto the post. Went long on occasion with his distribution often, but this kind of display will have been welcome to build up his confidence again. 7.

Cedric: Played quite well on his first arsenal start in well over a year. Involved in the build up to the goal where his move with Nelson was good. Maybe a bit out of position in the build up to the equaliser. 6.

William Saliba: Caught out a little positionally in the build up to the equaliser, but had been defensively good up until that. The decision to start him instead of a youngster still feels questionable. 6.

Gabriel: Also a little flat footed for the goal. Could probably have engaged earlier, but wasn’t helped by his teammates being out of position. Good leadership at the back aside from that though. 6.

Jakub Kiwior: Hasn’t looked that comfortable as a left-back recently. His positioning was off for much of the night and he struggled in one-vs-one duels against the impressive Bakayoko. 5.

Jorginho: One of the few players on the pitch who seemed to actually care about the result given how seriously he took things. Decent distribution at the base. 6.

Mohamed Elneny: Devastating to see him pick up another injury. Prior to that he had done OK. One shot that would have been a worldie if it had gone in, but some looseness in possession that was a little disappointing to see. 6.

Kai Havertz: A good outing for the German who played with some intensity in the midfield. Looks to be growing into more of a leadership role in this Arsenal squad. 7.

Reiss Nelson: A good outing for the now 24-year-old Hale Ender. A really well worked assist for Nketiah and could have had a goal of his own in the second half. 7.

Eddie Nketiah: When he starts, Nketiah seems to invariably score. He didn’t disappoint here with a nice finish past Benitez. Slightly quiet aside from the goal. 7

Leandro Trossard: A quiet outing for the Belgian who struggled to ever really impact the game like he can. Not a display to trouble Gabriel Martinelli’s starting spot. 6.

SUBSTITUTES –

Ben White: Brought some defensive solidity when Arsenal’s right hand side seemed to be opening up a bit. Surely bringing on Walters over him would have made sense though. 6.

Martin Odegaard: Played that deeper role that he has been used in recently after coming. One nice delivery into the box for the offside goal. 6.
