Liverpool are joint-top of the Champions League table after a hard-fought 1-0 win away to RB Leipzig.

RB Leipzig captain Willi Orban praised Liverpool after the match, with Darwin Nunez having netted the winner.

But playing an equally crucial role was Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who continued to fill in for the injured Alisson.

Kelleher made several world-class saves to help the Reds keep another clean sheet, which has been a common theme under Arne Slot.

The visitors led from the 27th minute in Germany, but that lead constantly came under threat from the Bundesliga club.

But the Liverpool goalkeeper continued to keep them at bay, with Kelleher rightly awarded the Player of the Match award by supporters.

It came on his first appearance in the Champions League since December 2020, with the Republic of Ireland star grateful to be back playing in the competition.
