Liverpool have only one month remaining to activate the £100m release clause for Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

Guimaraes, who is under contract at St James’ Park until 2028, agreed to this exit agreement when signing a new deal with the Magpies back in October and has presented an opportunity for major European clubs to secure his services this summer.
