24: Raya is down on the turf and the trainer runs on. Seeing a potential opportunity, Ramsdale is straight out of the dugout and warming up… but it appears Raya may just have had an issue with his eye and is going to be fine to play on.

21: PENALTY APPEALS! De Cordova-Reid tries to nip in ahead of Saliba as the Arsenal man looks to clear the ball in the visitors’ box but there didn’t appear to be much contact send the Fulham man sprawling.

Willian then sees a deflected shot go behind but Arsenal survive the follow-up corner. Fulham on the front foot here.

19: CLOSE! Fulham with momentum now! Iwobi is forced wide by Jimenez’s wayward pass but his return ball is a cracker… but just out of Jimenez’s reach.

It comes through to Willian, though, and the former Gunner whips a shot beyond the far post.

Sky Sports’ Oliver Yew at Craven Cottage:

“Lovely stuff from Fulham.

“The passing is crisp and sharp and the cut back from Robinson is perfect.

“The finish just doesn’t match the move as Jimenez’s strike is too close to Raya.

“That has woken the home fans up, however. They’ll want to see more of that as this game progresses.”

“Craven Cottage is little subdued.

“Marco Silva’s side now face a huge test. They need to make something happen to get the crowd right behind them again.”

8: Fulham have had all of the ball since the goal but they will be kicking themselves. As Willian told Sky Sports before kick-off, the plan was to keep it tight today but they’ve been opened up far too easily with just Arsenal’s second real attack of the game.

Fulham 0-1 Arsenal

Sky Sports’ Oliver Yew at Craven Cottage:

“After the disappointment in midweek, that’s the perfect start for Arsenal.

“It was all so simple as Raya started the move before Martinelli carried the ball relatively unopposed deep into Fulham territory.

“Saka was in the right place at the right time for a simple finish. He seemed slightly the surprised the ball came to him but he made no mistake with the finish.”

In midfield, Kai Havertz returns after suspension and comes into the starting XI in place of Leandro Trossard.

Also, Eddie Nketiah starts in attack for the Gunners, replacing Gabriel Jesus, who drops to the bench.
