Fabrizio Romano quashes Liverpool links with Mohammed Kudus

Liverpool have been linked with a move for 24-year-old West United attacker Mohammed Kudus in recent weeks.

Romano wrote, “Similarly, with Kudus and Liverpool there is currently nothing concrete to report. There will be 100 links per day on Liverpool with Salah out of contract but Liverpool are not in discussions or planning any move yet, it’s just a moment where they explore the market and still talk to Salah about the contract. So nothing really concrete on Kudus now, it’s not an October/November topic for sure.”

Liverpool could certainly use a quality wide player like Kudus, and it remains to be seen whether they can bring in a player like him in the near future. The 24-year-old is capable of slotting into the wide areas as well as in the central areas.

Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah will be a free agent in the summer of 2025 if he does not sign a new contract, and Paris Saint-Germain are vying for his signature. So, Liverpool might need to start planning for a future without him. Kudus would have been a quality acquisition for them.
