CAPTURED: Jorginho’s superb pass to Saka for Trossard’s goal – Arteta rates him…
After successive defeats, Arsenal returned to winning ways in style against Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka were on target as the Gunners edged closer towards the knockout stage.
Jorginho was among the standout performers. The Italian’s brilliant pass to Saka was the breakthrough in the first half.
Saka was able to find Trossard who buried the opportunity for Arsenal’s first goal.
After the game, Mikel Arteta said about his skipper for the night: “It’s a joy to have him. His influence on the rest of the squad and the rest of the boys is enormous.
“He fits in with the way that we want to play, he’s so intelligent. He understands everything so quickly and he makes everybody else better and I’m really happy with his performance tonight.”
