Reds make enquiry for £110m striker

Liverpool are being tipped to bolster their attacking options this summer. Reports from Italy suggest that the Reds are looking to make a ‘bold transfer splash’ by signing £110million (€130m) rated Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Corriere dello Sport (via TEAMtalk) claims that Liverpool have made an enquiry for Osimhen who has contributed with 76 goals in 133 appearances since joining the Italian side from Lille in 2020. The asking price for the 25-year-old has so far put clubs off negotiating a move.

The report adds Napoli could revise their asking price and the striker could be available for £75m (€90m).

Osimhen has already revealed his desire to join a Premier League club, saying: “I already made up my mind. I already have my plan, I know what I want to do, the next step I want to take. I think 60 per cent of the people mention the rumours about me linked with the Premier League. The Premier League is one of the biggest leagues in the world.
