BREAKING : ‘It doesn’t make sense’ – Burnley boss Vincent Kompany blames Jurgen Klopp for his touchline ban against Arsenal
Vincent Kompany believes Jurgen Klopp’s booking in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Burnley resulted in him also being shown a yellow card.
Klopp was booked by referee Tim Robinson at Anfield for his protests at the Reds not being awarded a penalty for a foul on Diogo Jota.

Kompany was also cautioned by the official, with his third yellow card of the season meaning he will miss Burnley’s clash against Arsenal next weekend.
Speaking after his side’s 17th Premier League defeat of the season, he hinted that Klopp’s sanction meant Robinson was keen to also book him as a way to ‘balance it out.’
“I’d say it’s a little bit to do with the game,” said the former Manchester City captain.
“I think I got booked because I should have paid attention to the fact that Jurgen Klopp got booked because then all I think the referee did was just went looking for me.

“I opened my arms out, which I have done exactly that in many games.
“Then all of a sudden the card comes out. Out of nothing. Now I am suspended for the next game.
“I should have known it was just a way to balance it out and it doesn’t make sense, but hey, we have to keep going. No sulking.”
Even Klopp questioned why his counterpart was shown a yellow card and even alluded to recent reported proposals of the introduction of a blue card, which would lead to a sin-bin.
