BRE vs LIV: Liverpool Team News, Possible Lineup, And Kickoff Time For Saturday’s Game
Liverpool will be seeking to extend their lead at the top of the English Premier League standings when they travel to Gtech Community Stadium in their next game of the campaign.
The Reds will be going into the match off the back of their convincing 3-1 victory over Burnley In their previous outing, and they will be looking for another victory over Brentford on Saturday to boost their credentials for the Premier League title.
Team News:
Liverpool have been handed a major boost ahead of Saturday’s game against Brentford, as Mohamed Salah has returned to full training following a muscular injury. The winger is poised to make his comeback this weekend, adding firepower to Liverpool’s forward line.
In further positive news for the Reds, Alisson Becker and Joe Gomez have recovered from illness, while Ibrahima Konate’s return from suspension strengthens the defensive ranks. Conor Bradley, after a period of absence due to personal reasons, has also been spotted back in training.
However, the defensive line faces setbacks as Trent Alexander-Arnold sustains another knee injury during the recent victory over Burnley. The vice-captain is expected to be sidelined until after the EFL Cup final on February 25, leaving a void in Liverpool’s defensive setup.
Alexander-Arnold joins a growing list of sidelined players, including Joel Matip, Ben Doak, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago Alcantara, and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Liverpool’s possible starting lineup vs Brentford:
Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Endo, Mac Allister; Jota, Nunez, Diaz.
Kickoff Time:
The Premier League game will commence at exactly 1:30 PM (Nigerian Time) on Saturday.
