Gunners contract offer

Arsenal have made a fresh contract offer to academy striker Chido Obi-Martin.

The Mirror report the Gunners have made a new approach in a bid to tie down the 16-year-old to a long-term deal.

Obi-Martin would not be able to physically sign a professional deal until he turns 17 in November, though.

The FA are also attempting to convince the teenager to pledge his international future to England, after representing Denmark at the under-17 Euros.

Osimhen keen on Arsenal move

Napoli star Victor Osimhen is keen on Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, Osimhen is interested in a move to the Emirates.

The Gunners are looking to sign a striker with reports suggesting they want to seal a deal before pre-season and the Nigeria international is among their top targets.

However, the 25-year-old has also been linked with Chelsea who are keen to swap Romelu Lukaku with the Partenope

Mikel Arteta’s new contract

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is in line for a huge pay rise with the club looking to offer him a bumper new contract.

Arteta has just one year left on his current deal and Emirates chiefs are desperate to tie him down long term, but it will take the club’s biggest-ever managerial contract to do it.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is the Premier League’s top-earning head coach on a huge £20million a season.

According to the Daily Mail, however, the North Londoners are ready to bump Arteta’s salary closer to that of Guardiola.

While the source doesn’t put an exact figure on it, it is understood a deal could double the £9.5m-a-season wage the Spanish tactician is already on.
