Alisson Becker suffers major Liverpool injury setback as hamstring woe continues

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is out of the Premier League clash at Brentford on Saturday after suffering hamstring injury

Liverpool have been dealt another huge injury setback with Alisson Becker the latest player to be struck with a hamstring problem.

The Brazil international goalkeeper is out of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Brentford having sustained the issue during a training session at Kirkby.

Alisson has instead remained on Merseyside to undergo further checks on the injury with Caoimhin Kelleher on standby to again deputise between the sticks

The news is another significant concern for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who in the last fortnight has seen Dominik Szoboszlai and Thiago Alcantara sidelined with hamstring complaints.
