Liverpool to go ‘all out’ for Florian Wirtz with record-shattering bid amid Real Madrid, Man City competition
Liverpool are big admirers of Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz and are reportedly willing to splash out a huge sum to sign him next summer.

Arne Slot wants to bring in more competition for Dominik Szoboszlai and the 21-year-old German international is viewed as the ideal candidate by the Reds.

Wirtz played a major role in Leverkusen’s Bundesliga title and cup-winning 2023/24 campaign and now Liverpool are plotting a move to sign Xabi Alonso’s star man.

According to journalist Diego Mengual, Real Madrid are ‘keeping a close eye’ on Wirtz and are in ‘pole position’ to win the race for his signature.

However, claimed that Liverpool are ‘willing to go all out and pay €120m (£100.6m; $134m)’ to sign Wirtz, which is ‘what Leverkusen are asking for’ – threatening Madrid’s pursuit
Juventus has set their asking price for Gleison Bremer, who has become a key transfer target for Liverpool.

Manchester United showed interest in the defender last summer but failed to convince Juventus to sell him.

The Bianconeri have clarified that Bremer is not for sale, emphasising that he is one of their most important players.

Bremer appears content to remain in Turin, but that hasn’t stopped other clubs from expressing interest in signing him.

Liverpool considers him one of their top defensive targets and is expected to see him as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk next summer.

However, Juventus has no plans to sell Bremer unless they receive an exceptionally high offer. According to Tuttomercatoweb, they have set a minimum asking price of €70 million.

The club believes this figure reflects the true value of the Brazilian defender and will not entertain offers below that amount.

It is thus not surprising that the Frenchman’s is regularly linked with a transfer as several top clubs have their eyes on him. One party that has been following his situation regularly is Liverpool.

As revealed in a recent report by The Daily Briefing, Tchouameni is not interested in a possible move to Liverpool and is focused on the project at Real Madrid.

From the club’s perspective, the defensive midfielder is an essential part of the team’s project and future and they would not be willing to sanction a departure.
