takes a look at how Mikel Arteta could line his Gunners side up for their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain at Emirates Stadiums

Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White are both injury concerns for Arsenal ahead of their Champions League clash with PSG.

It may only be matchday two, but this feels like a huge game for Arsenal. The Gunners dropped points in their Champions League opener and could do with a good result if they are to bolster their chances of finishing in the top eight of the league phase.

“We want to win the game and we know after the draw with Atalanta, with the number of games that we have, it is going to be really important,” Mikel Arteta said ahead of the match. “But nothing will be decided tomorrow.”

His job will be made harder by the fact that Martin Odegaard, Kieran Tierney, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Mikel Merino, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Tommy Setford are all definitely out, while doubts remain over Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori. With that in mind here’s how football.london are expecting the Gunners to line up for this heavyweight clash.

Goalkeeper – David Raya

David Raya has been a busy man, but had nothing to do this weekend for Arsenal. He still had to pick the ball out of the net twice though. He’ll be hoping for a fairer return this time around.

Right-back – Jurrien Timber

Jurrien Timber was in fine form during the press conference ahead of this match. He’ll want to continue that on the pitch on Tuesday night

Centre-back – William Saliba

William Saliba will have the whole French public’s eyes on him when Arsenal play PSG. Expect him not to disappoint.

Centre-back – Gabriel

Gabriel went a whole Premier League game without a goal at the weekend. He’ll want to change that against Paris Saint-Germain.

Left-back – Riccardo Calafiori

The rumours surrounding Riccardo Calafiori’s fitness seem to have been overblown. The Italian was training on Monday and with Ben White, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu

injured, he should be starting.

Defensive midfield – Thomas Partey

Thomas Partey had a great first half against Leicester, but dropped off a touch in the second. He’ll want to do the full 90 against PSG.

Central midfield – Declan Rice

Declan Rice has welcomed the tough fixture list Arsenal have right now. He’s relishing it and was great against Leicester. Mikel Merino is back in training but he’s not ready to give the England man some relief just yet.

Central midfield – Leandro Trossard
Leandro Trossard deserves to have two goals to his name against Leicester. He was in great form over the weekend and will want to keep that up in the Champions League.

Right wing – Bukayo Saka

It went under the radar but Bukayo Saka had another amazing game against Leicester. He’ll want to keep that form up to star against top class opposition.

Centre forward – Kai Havertz

Kai Havertz of Arsenal celebrates scoring his team’s fourth goal during the Premier League match between Arsenal FC and Leicester City FC at Emirates Stadium.

Kai Havertz scored the probably the luckiest goal of his career against Leicester. He’ll want to keep up that good fortune against PSG.

Left wing – Gabriel Martinelli

Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal celebrates

Gabriel Martinelli was back to his best for periods against Leicester. He’ll want to keep that going amid conversation for his place from Raheem Sterling.
