Manu Kone has made it clear he wants to play for a Champions League club this season, according to Sky Germany.
As we mentioned earlier, the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder has reportedly told his current club he wants to leave this summer. Gladbach is expecting to fetch $28m (£21m/€25m) including bonuses.
Kone was heavily linked with Liverpool last year, and although the Reds are reportedly not looking at any other No.6 targets after Martin Zubimendi’s rejection, perhaps they should reconsider.
