Liverpool transfer news and rumours, including updates on Goncalo Inacio, Mohamed Salah, Gleison Bremer, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Pedro Neto, Virgil van Dijk, Jurgen Klopp, Arne Slot, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dani Olmo and more

Liverpool has been linked with a move for Takefusa Kubo.

Reports this week have claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing Wolves duo Rayan Ait-Nouri and Pedro Neto. It has also been speculated that Juventus defender Gleison Bremer is a potential target for the Reds this summer.

In terms of exits, the futures of Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold continue to dominate the rumour mill. The duo are contracted at Anfield until next summer and it remains to be seen if either will sign extensions.

There will also be all of the build-up to tonight’s pre-season friendly as Liverpool face La Liga club Real Betis in Pittsburgh, as part of the first leg of their tour of the United States.

Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay says Takefusa Kubo is happy at the Spanish club and plans to continue with them next season.

Reports in Japan earlier this week inferred that the winger was on the brink of joining Liverpool, a claim the ECHO was quickly able to decipher as false.

And now, Aperribay has given a hands-off warning to any potential suitors. He told Mundo Deportivo:

“There is no issue. There are no negotiations with any club. We’re in the market, anything can happen, but Take is very happy here and he’s going to continue. We love him very much, let’s hope he stays at La Real forever.”
