Since then, he has taken the Championship by storm, recording 20 goals and nine assists in 46 appearances last season. As his club missed out on promotion, the Dutchman has been tipped to sign for a side in the Premier League, with the Reds second in the running behind Brighton (2/1) as things stand.

Pedro Neto, Wolves – 7/1

Pedro Neto has plenty of pros and cons to delve into for the numerous top-level Premier League teams linked with a move for the Wolves attacker. The 24-year-old has proven himself in England over the last five years, managing to score once against Liverpool during this time, but not without his heavy injury troubles. The Reds are rated 7/1 behind Manchester City (11/4) plus Arsenal and Spurs (both 4/1).

Victor Gyokeres, Sporting CP – 8/1

If Slot looks to make the daring move to find a central striker with the potential to oust Darwin Nunez from the Reds’ starting XI, then he is also being tipped to look towards Portugal. Former Coventry City man Victor Gyokeres grabbed 43 goals and 15 assists in all competitions in his first year with Sporting CP, so he has understandably found himself back on the radar of English clubs.
