Group A: Alexis Mac Allister
Alexis Mac Allister’s Argentina head into the competition as defending champions, though the midfielder wasn’t involved in his nation’s triumph in Brazil during the 2021 edition.
Group A also includes Peru, Chile and Canada – and it is against the latter that Argentina will open up the tournament on June 21 (1am kick-off) at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Five days later, Argentina will take on Chile at 2am on June 26 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, ahead of a final clash against Peru on June 30 at 1am in Miami.
Group C: Darwin Nunez
Marcelo Bielsa has included Darwin Nunez in his Uruguay squad for the tournament, with the Reds’ No.9 set to lead the attack for his nation.
They begin their involvement against Panama on June 24 at 2am in Miami, with their second fixture set for New Jersey with Bolivia the opponents on June 28 (2am kick-off).
Their final outing in the opening phase comes against hosts USA on July 2 (2am kick-off), with the tie taking place at GEHA Field at Arrowhead in Kansas City.
Group D: Alisson Becker and Luis Diaz

Two Liverpool teammates will come together in Group D of the tournament, with Alisson Becker’s Brazil and Luis Diaz’s Colombia pitted against one another.
They will, however, not meet until the final matchday of the opening phase, with Costa Rica and Paraguay also part of the group.
Colombia will first take on Paraguay (11pm kick-off) on June 24 at NRG Stadium in Houston, while Brazil’s clash with Costa Rica comes on June 25 (2am kick-off) at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Colombia then face Costa Rica at 11pm on June 28 in Glendale, Arizona. Brazil take on Paraguay in Las Vegas in the early hours of June 29, with kick-off set for 2am in Nevada.
Finally, Alisson and Diaz will face off on the last matchday of the group at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, with kick-off pencilled for 2am on July 3 in California.
