Liverpool is keeping an eye on the England international and needs defensive reinforcements. They are now a part of the numerous teams vying for his signature. However, the Merseyside club could have to seek elsewhere given Palace’s £50 million asking price for Guehi.

At the moment, they are giving midfield additions priority. They are making a strong effort to sign Brighton & Hove Albion’s Alexis Mac Allister. Additionally, the Reds are considering deals for Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher, Khephren Thuram, and Nicolo Barella. Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have expressed interest in Guehi. William Saliba needs defensive cover from the Gunners.

Palace might consider selling if they receive a large enough profit from the Guehi deal. With a contract that runs until 2026, the former Chelsea centre defender gives Palace the upper hand in talks. Jefferson Lerma, a midfielder for Bournemouth, is the subject of an offer from Palace. When this summer’s contract with the Cherries expires, the 28-year-old becomes a free agent.
