WHU vs ARS: Arsenal Team News, Possible Lineup, And Kickoff Time Ahead Of Sunday’s PL London Derby

Arsenal will be aiming to maintain their Premier League title aspirations when they face West Ham United in their next game of the season on Sunday in London.

The Gunners will be going into the high-profile London Derby in high spirits following their impressive 3-1 victory over Liverpool in their last match, and they will be looking for another victory over West Ham United to close the gap on Manchester City in the league title race.

Team News:

The Gunners could be going into Sunday’s game against West Ham United without the services of Gabriel Jesus, who is still recovering from the knee injury he sustained a few days ago. Recall that the Brazilian forward missed the game against Liverpool last weekend.

Bukayo Saka is expected to recover from an ankle knock he sustained against Liverpool last Sunday, bolstering Arsenal’s attacking lineup. However, the Gunners faced another setback as Oleksandr Zinchenko was forced off at halftime with a calf injury. Takehiro Tomiyasu, fresh from his stint at the Asian Cup and poised to extend his contract, is poised to step in at left-back.

The injury list for Arsenal includes long-term absentees Thomas Partey (thigh), Jurrien Timber (ACL), and Fabio Vieira (groin), posing challenges for Arteta’s squad depth. Despite these setbacks, Jorginho’s stellar performance against Liverpool has further solidified his place in the midfield, potentially forming a formidable partnership with Declan Rice, formerly of West Ham.

Arsenal’s possible starting lineup vs West Ham United:

Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu; Odegaard, Rice, Jorginho; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli.

Kickoff Time:

The Premier League clash will begin at exactly 3 PM (Nigerian Time) on Sunday.
