DONE DEAL : Jordan Henderson’s transfer has now been officially confirmed

after he terminated his contract in Saudi Arabia.

The midfielder has joined Eredivisie club Ajax on a permanent deal, ending his time at Al-Ettifaq.

Despite only making 19 appearances for the Saudi club, Henderson has now made the move to Ajax.

This transfer has been surrounded by controversy, as there were reports that he may not receive his full wages.

After exploring options in Europe, Henderson has chosen to sign a two-and-a-half-year contract with Ajax.

He recently completed his medical and is now awaiting a work permit to be able to play as a non-EU national.

Although he won’t be able to reunite with Liverpool this season, Henderson is set to make his debut for Ajax in the near future.
