Gabriel Jesus was unable to participate in Arsenal’s FA Cup loss to Liverpool due to injury.

The Brazilian has been dealing with a recurring knee injury since tearing his ACL at the 2022 World Cup. Although surgery was performed to address the issue, Jesus is still experiencing discomfort.

Arteta confirmed that Jesus’ absence was due to knee pain and further scans will determine the severity of the injury.
