Tottenham have held talks over a potential move from Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, football.london understands. A position of priority for the club in the January transfer window, Ange Postecoglou currently has limited numbers in that area of the pitch available to him following some bad luck on the injury front.

Losing Micky van de Ven until early next year after he sustained a hamstring injury at the beginning of November in the 4-1 defeat against Chelsea, Spurs also had to do without Cristian Romero for a period of three games following his dismissal in the same fixture.
