Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham Hotspur. Premier League.

Ange: It’s nice to be unchanged

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglu

“It is nice [to be unchanged], we don’t have too many options. The team really performed well last week and we’ll need another tonight.

“We’ve been pretty good at getting the ball into the front third this year.

“Goals always help with strikers. He [Richarlison] feels good physically and he’s looking forward to the game.

“Here at home, you’re always tough to beat. They had a strong performance last week against Wolves and we’re expecting a tough game tonight.”

Son on song

Son Heung-min has been involved in 14 goals in his last 13 Premier League games, scoring 10 and assisting four.

Only Erling Haaland (8) has scored more away goals than the Tottenham captain so far this season (7).

Carra: Forest need to turn City Ground back into a fortress

Sky Sports’ Jamie Carragher:

“These supporters kept Steve Cooper in a job last season. He was close to losing his job. But the feeling here [at the City Ground] and that he brought them back to the Premier League is probably keeping him in the job.

“It would be really tough if a new manager came in and there was a bad feeling around the place [because Cooper had left]. Is that going to help them?

“But one win in 12 has to improve and Steve Cooper will know that better than anybody.

“They can win tonight. This place kept them up last season – Liverpool lost here, Arsenal lost here at the end of the season, Man City drew here. They’ve got to get back to making this place a fortress and that would be enough to keep them up.”

Ange on January transfer plans: Centre-back signing a priority

The Radar: Why Dejan Kulusevski is underrated

The Radar column examines the defensive issue costing Man Utd, the quiet brilliance of Dejan Kulusevski, and Roberto De Zerbi’s revolutionary rotation.

“I don’t listen to it [talk about his position]. I’m not putting on a brave face, I learnt quickly to hide it away. As a manager you’re always under pressure and probably the most pressure I felt in this job was when I first took over because of where the club was and the size of the club and you take responsibility for that.

“So the pressure exists all the time. It’s a relentless and ruthless league. You have to look forward, stay true to yourself and believe you can do well in the next game.”

Carra: A different feeling around Tottenham this season

Sky Sports’ Jamie Carragher:

“I’m really looking forward to the game tonight and a lot of that is because of Spurs. I was watching them against Newcastle and I thought the football was unbelievable, against a top team, with the injury problems they’ve got, to win the game 4-1 I thought it was outstanding.

“It’s interesting that compared to last season they’ve got the same record in terms of wins, draws, losses, goals for, goals conceded but there’s a totally different feeling around Tottenham this season.”

Cooper: We’re still trying to repair damage from Fulham thrashing

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper to Sky Sports:

“[The Wolves draw] was on the back of a really poor night at Fulham, which a lot quite rightly has been said. There was nothing good about it and when something like that happens, particularly for the supporters, we’ve got to show some sort of reaction.

“We got that but it’s only a small step forward to the damage that was done at Fulham and we have to at least repeat that ethic and attitude to today while believing in the plan that’s needed for the game tonight.”

‘Look at this man’s arrogance’ | Carra shows off 7-0 Christmas jumper
