UPDATE LIVE : Man City titles stripped or points deduction? Possible FFP penalties as Arsenal and Liverpool awaits verdict

Liverpool and the rest of the Premier League clubs are waiting to find out what the verdict will be on Man City’s 115 charges with amid Everton’s points deduction.

The international break may be perceived as dull by some, but recent developments in the Premier League have sparked plenty of discussion and speculation. Following Everton’s punishment for breaching Financial Fair Play rules, which resulted in a 10-point deduction, attention has turned to the ongoing investigation into Manchester City’s financial conduct. Liverpool fans will be eagerly awaiting the outcome as it could have significant implications for the Premier League title race.

Back in February, it was revealed that Manchester City had been charged by the Premier League with over 100 breaches of its financial rules. The charges followed a four-year investigation and raised concerns about the club’s compliance with Financial Fair Play regulations. In response to these charges, the Premier League referred the case to a Commission under Premier League Rule W.3.4.

The Commission, which operates independently of the Premier League and its member clubs, will examine the alleged breaches in a confidential and private hearing. The final award of the Commission will be published on the Premier League’s website. Until then, the Premier League has refrained from making any further comments on the matter.
