The Golden State Warriors have officially signed sharpshooter Buddy Hield to a 3-year contract, solidifying their roster with one of the NBA’s most consistent perimeter threats. The deal, reportedly worth $45 million, underscores the Warriors’ commitment to surrounding Stephen Curry with elite shooting talent as they aim to remain championship contenders.
Hield, 31, joins the Warriors after a productive stint with the Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers last season. Known for his lethal three-point shooting, Hield boasts a career average of 40% from beyond the arc. In the 2023-24 season, he averaged 12.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game, continuing to showcase his scoring efficiency and versatility.
