Caught on camera: Trossard and Arteta’s polarizing reactions to Nketiah’s sloppy miss vs Brentford
Kai Havertz turned into Arsenal’s hero by scoring a brilliant last-gasp winner in their 1-0 win over Brentford.
However, before the German forward, Eddie Nketiah actually had a big chance to at least set up a potential winner, if not score it.
Towards the end of the game, Arsenal won the ball in a key position and were able to dart forward with multiple players.
Nketiah got the ball inside the box, but instead of squaring it to Trossard in a better position, he went for a shot that was saved.
The Belgian forward was bemused by that and cut a frustrated figure, questioning his teammate’s decision not to find him.
Mikel Arteta, however, was much more calm on the touchline and actually appreciated Nketiah’s effort in the play.
Fortunately for the Gunners, that poor miss did not cost them as Havertz would go onto score a crucial late goal.
